“Hands-on Help Time” from 6:30pm til 7pm, BLUG/LFNW & Linux News, Q&A, and a presentation by Adrian Klaver: “Who needs the command line?”
Adrian’s Presentation:
A general talk on how Adrian uses a Linux desktop for day-to-day use, including some favorite apps, like LibreOffice, Unison, TkRemind, DigiKam, GnuCash, Kate, XSane, Firefox, and Thunderbird.
Hands-on Help Time:
Starting at 6:30pm, 1/2 hour prior to the regular 7pm start time, BLUG offers hands-on help for anyone with a Linux issue. Bring your computer and let the BLUG folks give you a hand.

Joshua D. Drake is a PostgreSQL Consultant and has been consulting on PostgreSQL since Postgres95. Throughout his PostgreSQL career he has performed a variety of functions within the community including releasing an O’Reilly book on PostgreSQL, being part of the sysadmins and advocacy teams. Further he ran a biannual conference series dedicated to PostgreSQL between the years of 2007 – 2011. He is a former Director for SPI (the non-profit for PostgreSQL.org). Lastly he is also a Founder of United States PostgreSQL and a current Director for Postgres Foundation.
